Juice Robotics Cells address these two problems of potted technology:
- Modularity – The hardware within a potted assembly is fixed
- Service-ability – Faulty potted assemblies must be fully replaced
Once this is addressed, the transformational power of potting can be fully realized. Which we believe provides an avenue for better drop in replacements today and provides a foundation for tomorrows smaller / distributed systems.
This is made possible through the use of a standardized mechanical footprint, and electrical interface, and proprietary electrical connector. These can be combined in “stacks” to make stand alone systems or integrated into existing ones. One example “stack” would be the drop cam shown here:
